Andrew Tripp

Andrew Shkáx Kawdulaak was born and raised in Juneau, AK. He is Tlingit from

the Deisheetaan (Raven/Beaver) clan and Yeíl Hít (Raven House) out of Angoon, AK. He currently lives in Juneau with his wife and three children.

Andrew began his art education by learning to draw formline, which later led to wood carving, drum painting and then metalwork. He enjoys being creative and experimenting with new techniques and styles. Andrew loves sharing his works with his community, often participating in local fairs, competitions, and art shows.

Andrew constantly strives to learn and try new things, always looking forward to continuing perfecting and expanding his art.
